![]() Now, I just KNOW everyone was thinking I was off my game when there were NO pumpkins featured in the Boo Time class projects - PSYCH! I saved them for these adorable Pumpkin Purses, my gift to my ladies for another lovely evening! These are totally CASE'd from Missi Roeber in the September 2012 Stampin' Success demo magazine - and I can't wait to make their little bat and frankie friends, too! And here's the Boo Time class instructions, enjoy! Day of Gratitude stamp set; Petite Purse Bigz L die; Tangerine Tango, Basic Black & Lucky Limeade CS; Stripes embossing folder; Brights collection brads; Organdy ribbon in Lucky Limeade; extra large Oval punch. ![]() I'm also excited to share the flyer for this year's 22nd Annual Holiday Gift Boutique at Mountainview Presbyterian - I can't wait! I had an AWESOME time there last year - even though they put my table right in front of the kitchen counter so that I had to smell those gorgeous cinnamon rolls and delicious soups all weekend! Argh! When you come to shop - come hungry! I hope to see you there - I'll have some great deals on cards and projects, gifts and treats! There's a lot to see!

![]() Happy Birthday to the most fabulous upline in the universe - Julie U! Yay! I had spent days floundering around trying to come up with a birthday card, when Freshly Made Sketches #53 came to my rescue - another yay! The irony here is I borrowed this stamp set from Julie herself - I want it so bad! It's the set "I Am..." that was given to attendees of the 2012 Stampin Up! convention, which I wasn't able to attend, {sob}. I hope next year's set is as cool as this one! I Am... & Happiest Birthday Wishes (retired) stamp sets; Whisper White, Lucky Limeade & Tempting Turquoise CS; Pawsitively Prints II (retired) DSP; Labels Collection & Bitty Banners framelits; Flower from Bitty Punch Pack; self-adhesive rhinestones. ![]() To go with the card, I made this fun wall medallion - so bright and cheery! This sentiment really sums up everything Julie is to me - and I want everyone to know! Happy Birthday, doll! Thanks for being such a blessing in my life! I Am... stamp set; Pawsitively Prints II (retired) DSP; XL Designer Rosette die; Large Delicate Doily sizzlet; Labels Collection framelits; Stitched Poly ribbon in Poppy Parade (retired.) ![]() Here are the quick and fun treats for my ladies at the Countdown Kiss Advent Calendar class - there has to be a little chocolate changing hands, or it doesn't count as a class in my book! I miss this tinsel so much - I think SU! should bring it back - who's with me??!! And here's the cheat sheet from tonight's class, of course, lots of fun, ladies! Greeting Card Kids & Greetings of the Season stamp sets; Old Olive & Very Vanilla CS; Library Clips (retired); Trim Tinsel in silver (retired); Window Frames framelits; Merry Minis punch pack; Champagne glimmer paper; various coordinating markers for color! ![]() Hello! I wanted to make sure I made the official announcement for the Bonus class - a Christmas version of the Countdown Kiss Calendar! I'm offering two different sessions this time around, an evening and a day: Thursday, August 30, 6:30 pm or Friday, September 1, at 10:30 am. There's so much prep work for this class, the cost is $25, sorry, but our usual treats and goodies will abound! Let me know if you plan on coming (and which day!) so I can make sure to have a kit for you! ![]() Remember the Boo Pumpkins? I realized that they would make a great apple shape, too, to go along with our Back to School decor, so that's what I made for our class gift for tonight! They really did come out cute, and I can't pass up a chance to play with new toys ever! Here are tonight's class instructions, as well - enjoy! Wonderfall & Itty Bitty Banners stamp set; Riding Hood Red & Wild Wasabi CS; Always Artichoke ink; Mini Milk Carton die; Bitty Banners framelits; Woodgrain embossing folder; Always Artichoke seam binding ribbon. ![]() I have been having SO MUCH FUN playing with all the goodies I was able to pre-order for our holiday classes from the upcoming Holiday Mini! I can't wait for you all to get a closer look! Next week's class will kick off our holiday season with a bang - two Christmas cards featuring several new items, plus a quick shadow box insert for our collection to get ready for Back to School! Yay! So, (I hope I can get this right this time) next week's class is scheduled for Thursday evening of July 19, 630 pm. Refreshments and goodies will abound, PLUS I've been adding to the garage sale shelf steadily, so there is plenty more to choose from, all at screamin' deal prices! Out with the old, in with the new! Make sure to RSVP, so I know to cut supplies for you! ![]() When I saw these adorable punch art Uncle Sams, I knew they'd be the perfect class gift for our July 4 extravaganza! Usually punch art isn't my thing, but these are just so clever! They are CASE'd from the fabulous Marie Shaughnessy of Marie Stamps - her version has the perfect details! I added a pin back with hot glue so we can WEAR our art! Woo! Here is tonight's class sheet, and of course, our yummy patriotic fruit pizza came from Our Best Bites! ![]() Here's a quick picture of my class gift for the ladies - isn't this an amazing use of the Petite Purses die? I knew I had to make them for our summer celebration, as soon as I saw it on Lynda Lee's blog! She is taking this die to amazing places! And a cute little market basket wouldn't be complete without a sweet bundle of market flowers, either! They add just the right touch (and hide the mini York Peppermint Patty treat very elegantly!) And here are the instructions from the class for your notes! (Glad the Coconut Turnovers were a hit - this recipe came from Our Best Bites - enjoy!) ![]() I don't think Todd reads my blog either! So I get to post this one, too! Todd's a big golfer, and we're finally at the time of year when we don't hang out much outside, except poolside. So I thought I'd do him a golf-themed Father's Day card this year. And because he's an engineer, I like his cards to be "action" cards! This one has a spinner - the golf ball rolls back and forth revealing the "Happy Father's Day" through the window. Fun stuff! The golf ball is made by running a 1" punched circle through the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder - saw that trick somewhere - brilliant! Hopefully he won't think card is all gray - he's red/green color blind, but I can't think golf without thinking green! Garden Green, Early Espresso, Wild Wasabi & Very Vanilla CS; The Back Nine (retired), Fore! (retired), Inspired By Nature (retired), Teeny Tiny Wishes & Lovely Little Labels stamp sets; Aqua Painter; Early Espresso satin ribbon. ![]() Here's the final for next week's class - I think you'll love it! I tried to make the cards relatively simple, to leave time for all those flower petals on the shadow box - if you have your own bone folder, you should definitely bring it along! So, class is Thursday, June 21, 630 pm - make sure you RSVP, so I can prep your shadow box pieces for you! I expect to also offer a bonus July 4th class for June 28, of a shadow box insert and a wreath I think you'll love! Pics tomorrow! |
